I upgraded to 2.1.3 and it broke my menu, reverted to 2.1.1 and
still broken... what changed? (none of the new features should had
affected it) and how do I fix it?

My menu is also be broken after upgrading wayfinder to 2.1.3.

The previous generated HTML:

Why should my list item have the site-nav with the new Wayfinder, and not with Wayfinder 2.1.1?
What should change to fix this problem?

Hi,

I’m trying to create a foot nav menu & can’t seem to get the html working correctly, I’m calling wf like this:

[[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` 
				&displayStart=`false` 
				&outerTpl=`FootNavigation.outer` 
				&innerTpl=`FootNavigation.inner` 
				&rowTpl=`FootNavigation.row` 
				&includeDocs=`26,33,42,38,39,49,25,52,53`
				]]

the problem is that some of those resource id’s are children of other resources & do not show up at all & when they do they show up as nested unordered lists, I’ve tried fiddling with the innerTpl & rowTpl but just cant seen to figure it out.

What I need to show up in the end is something like:

<li><a href="[[~26]]">Salon</a></li>
				<li><a href="[[~33]]">Spa</a></li>
				<li><a href="[[~42]]">Bridal Planner</a></li>
				<li><a href="[[~25]]">Store</a></li>

				<li><a href="[[~49]]">Reservations</a></li>
				<li><a href="[[~38]]">Packages</a></li>
				
				<li><a href="[[~52]]">Etiquette</a></li>

FootNavigation.outer = <ul id="foot-nav-list" class="horizontal">[[+wf.wrapper]]</ul>
FootNavigation.inner = is blank right now...
FootNavigation.row = <li[[+wf.classes]]><a href="[[+wf.link]]" title="[[+wf.title]]">[[+wf.linktext]]</a>[[+wf.wrapper]]</li>

any thoughts on how I should correctly do this??

Sean, I believe that Wayfinder mimics the actual structure of your Modx documents, and will reflect nested children accordingly. I don’t think it’s possible to ’flatten’ the document structure into a single level, as you require. Correct me if I’m wrong.

You may be right - certainly makes senses. Everything I have been trying is not yielding the desired results .... I guess I am down to statically linking them in html sad

Maybe we can get splittingred to weigh in on this?

is it possible to get the menu from other contexts with Wayfinder, for example:

[[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &context=`anotherContext` ]]

If not, can you give me a hint?
