I’ve read elsewhere in the forums that 5.3 brings some troubles indeed. Might be the cause then.

I believe SimplePie can only aggregate feeds.
I haven’t extended this snippet to broadcast.

Replacing "& new" by "new" removed the errors in log (even if there was no big deal, things were working fine anyway).
Just discovered that some "heavy" feeds and setItemLimit=`null` cause a blank page.

Goldsky, did you try (and succeed) to wrap this with getPage ?

I don’t use this with wrapping things.

It’s just to complicated for me to keep up the compatibility between the ’subject’ and the ’blanket’ snippets.

There is a cache folder you should make: assets\components\spiefeed\cache, or different path by &setCacheLocation parameter.
It should lighten up your feeding.
Indonesian MODx Forum’s front page uses this, fetching from 3 different sources.

Or perhaps, there is something incompatible with your sources.
I set the &forceFSockopen as true, while actually SimplePie sets cURL as the default, because my server had always been killed by some cyrillic characters (which occured since I used to use getFeed snippet).

Wanna try to set &forceFSockopen=`0` and use your cURL ?
