      Hi Ios,

      I have to admit this leads to (on my config) to the following:

      Could not find package manifest at /srv/www/wi2-website2011-modx/core/packages/soft manager theme-1.0-pl/manifest.php
Attempting to install package with signature: soft manager theme-1.0-pl
Could not unpack package /srv/www/wi2-website2011-modx/core/packages/soft manager theme-1.0-pl.transport.zip to /srv/www/wi2-website2011-modx/core/packages/. SIG: soft manager theme-1.0-pl
Package found...now preparing to install.
Could not install package with signature: soft manager theme-1.0-pl


      Other packages (all i tried but this) installed without problems.
      Unpacking the zip file manually leads to permission denied errors (even though all files are writable by the webserver) upon install.

      Environment:
      revo 2-0.3 pl
      PHP Version 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.5
      PDO Client API version 5.1.41

      Please let me know if there is anything I can do to provide you with more information regarding this.
      Just love the look of the theme - after using it for some time in 2.0.0.pl its such a pain to go back to the default one ;-(

        I’ve just tested it on a new install.

        There are a few issues that i’ll try to fix :
        - Once the package is downloaded, it is not loaded automatically in the install package grid. It appears only if the grid is refreshed manually.
        - The namespace is not good

        However, the theme has been succefully installed and loaded once the page is refreshed.

        Since you can install other package, you have the zip extension, but can you check if you have write permissions in the manager directory (manager/controllers and manager/templates should be writeable) ?

          What did the trick for me was to rename the unpacked directory in /core/packages to
          soft manager theme-1.0-pl
          Guess that is what you referred to as wrong namespace.

          This (dunno if its the new version or just reinstalling modx and the add-on) also solves the issue I had in:

            MODx Revolution 2.0.3 introduced some changes within the controllers, who explain the compatibility issues with the precedent version.

              So is this theme going to be updated i wonder? been broken for a while now. actually I can’t even download it from the extras. it comes in as an empty file...

                Sorry, i forgot about to update it.
                I will update it for Revolution 2.1 release.
                And if only the controllers has been modified, i will also give update for the Revo 2.0.8 asap.

                    Tried to install the theme, buts it’s seem to be broken on Revo 2.1.1pl. Does any of you know how to set the backend-theme back to default? NB! I do not have access to the database via phpMyAdmin and I don’t have access to System Setting in manager since the SoftManagertheme is broken.

                    Or, how can i see the Systemsettings in Softmanagertheme?
                      I think, thererfor I am! But what I am, and why...?

                      Try to rename the "soft" directories in manager/controllers and manager/templates as "softold", replace the two directories by a copy of the default theme renamed as "soft", clear your cache and try again.
