Hi all --

I’ve just installed the Captcha plugin and now I can’t access the manager because the captcha image isn’t being generated and I get a $_SESSION Variable not set error.


I’ve tried disabling the plugin at the database level with phpMyAdmin first by:
changing the captcha.enabled field value to "0" in the modx_system_settings table

and by:
changing the disabled field value to "1" in the modx_site_plugins table but none of that would work.

How do I bypass the Captcha so I can at least login to the manager?

My environment:

MODx 2.0.5-pl
PHP 5.2.12
MYS: 5.0.67
CHROME 8/FF 4B7/IE 9B

Try clearing the cache by deleting the contents of the core/cache/ directory.
