Brief Description:

dewplayer is a flash mp3 player created by dew (<a style="color: #2a5db0;" title="dewplayer site" href="http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer-en.html" target="_blank]dewplayer website).

The dewplayer snippet simplifies the flash player code generation into modx ressources.
A documentation page is available here:[a style="color: #2a5db0;" href="http://kevinklein.fr/modx/dewplayer/" target="_blank]http://kevinklein.fr/modx/dewplayer/

• I love this snippet..it’s easy to use.. I just have one question. Is there a way to change the width of the player using a snippet parameter? like width="xxx"..

• Hi,
I’m afraid it’s not possible, these are fixed-width images. But if you want a personalized version you can contact the author of the flash file.
• I am having an issue with the playlist player. It seems to be limiting the playlist to only 14 songs, even though my XML playlist has over 30 songs in it. Can you tell me why this might be? I have attached my playlist to this message it that helps any. Thanks!
• Hi,
just a thought; does the song 15 has a correct location (<location>/assets/music/Jump_The_Gun_full.mp3</location>)? Maybe it’s just due to a typo undecided
The only difference I see in the playlist compared to my test file is the encoding line at the beginning of the xml file (<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>), maybe can you try the file without this line?

I removed the line and double checked & confirmed the location of the 15th file. No change. Any other thoughts? Possibly a setting someone in the javascript or SWF files? Thanks for your help, I appreciate it!

• Sorry for the late reply. I just updated the playlist (here) and it shows more than 14 songs... can you check with different mp3 files? this might be due to the encoding of the file itself,
• Hi, I've just installed dewplayer, but can't find anything that tells me where to put my mp3s and the xml file to get it going, would anyone care to tell me this? Thanks.
• Yeah it appears the support document website is down.
