I’ve no problems at all in 2.1.2 and MIGX. There must be something else wrong.
Seems there is another TV in the category nivoslider, which doesn’t work.
Which TVs do you have in the category nivoslider?
And what type of TV is your caption-TV?

I’m having an issue with the captions on my slider. I’ve followed the MIGX write-up from bruno. You’ll see here: http://www.revo.thearchived.net/

That the captions show up on the image, but also each of them stack under the image. Where have I made this error? Any help is appreciated.

      Thanks

yes, thanks. That did indeed fix that issue. Just on to customizing arrows and such. But one other thing that bothers me is the bottom of images without captions still have that semi-transparent background.
How to fix that in the .css?

Change this line in your nivo slider javascript options.

            captionOpacity:0.8,

            to this

            captionOpacity:0,

That should take care of it.

Yes,it does, sort of. It actually makes it so the captions or background bar doesn’t show up. I only wanted the background bar not to show up while there were no captions. Although, no captions if fine with me.
              Thank you for your help!

It’s not loading for me here in google Chrome, I have a flash blocker, but I don’t think that would prevent it loading. I just see the spinning as in ’still loading’ icon.
thought I’ld mention it, see if anybody else is having this issue in Chrome, or if it’s something local here?

Got a link we can check? Could be an error in your nivo slider javascript.

Thanks for help, after playing with it for a few I’ve got it working how it was in evo. Captions don’t work how I’d want but wasn’t using them before, so no need to start now.
