There appears to be a bug with the editors Insert/edit link button.

When I press it, I get a pop up box with a 404 error.

It calls for assets/components/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/modxlink/link.php

should it be calling assets/components/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/modxlink/link.htm

instead?

Nope, it should be going to the PHP file...mine works fine. Does that file not exist on your system? If it doesn’t, try reinstalling.

The file does exist, is in the correct location and I don’t see a problem with the code.

I did try changing it so that it opened the .htm file rather than the PHP file and that seemed to correct the issue (however I cant help but feel that there would be issues in doing that).

Not sure why I’m getting a 404 for an existing file. I even tried turning FURLs off in case that was the problem, to no avail.

How deeply buried is that file? There is a setting in PHP to limit how deep into the directory structure you can go to get a file.

How can I change the width of window?

Couldn’t find such config in SystemSettings

Messing with files in assets/components/tinymce didn’t help

full server path is /home/caudwell/htdocs/

then the file path mentioned above

So it has to go in 8 directories from the calling function. If your server configuration does limit the depth for inclusion of script files, then that would cause your problem. It’s come up here a few times before. The hosting support had to increase the allowed depth.

sottwell, can you comment on my issue?

I have no idea where or how Revo deals with such things. I don’t do Revo (yet).
