Support/Comments for Provisioner 1.5-beta

I find the app so important that I desparately want it to work...

So I followed your directions, but nothing changed.


-could not find the download page anymore, so re-unzipped the copy revogateway I had and deleted the old and placed the newly unzipped on two of my Evolution-sites in the assets/snippet/directory


I seem to have connectecd to one site, but it gives no results when hitting fresh page
except Users that goes in a loading mode but never stops and gets nothing in.
But then if I logout it says I cannot logout and gives a pop-up screen that does not result in anything no matter which password I give.
I had that before.

The other site just gives the same warning the revogateway is not installed

All these sites run at the same provider, could that be a problem?

Sorry about this, I’ve just pushed 1.6-beta to extra’s and for some reason its removed the previous entries, probably till its approved.

Ok, the same provider shouldn’t matter, what may matter is how you are doing this exactly. Close your browser and clear its cache, then reopen it and log in to the site you have Provisioner installed in. Go onto the admin tab, it should have blank entries. Pick one site that is either a revo site(prefarable) or an evo site. Do NOT open any other tabs in the browser and log in to this site through its manager at the mo, type in your paths etc and press login, what do you see now?

Hi Shamblett. I finally sorted out my prob with config.inc.php so was able to get the site id of the site on my laptop to enter into the hosted site. My laptop site is externally visible but I still don’t get a connection within Provisioner.

What happens is I go into Provisioner>Aministartion and enter the logon and site id etc.

I click on go and get a get a box with a progress bar saying please wait - saving for a few seconds then that goes away and no confirmation of success or failure.
If I then go to resources and refresh tree it says failed to get remote resources - not logged in.

I saw you posted a later version so I thought I would try that but when I try and pull it from package manager I get ’an error ocurred while connecting to the provider - No package found

any suggestions?

We found only yesterday that possibly through a combination of events involving moving our sites to a new domain having php 5.2plus etc., we have permission issues with our first trial Revolution which was uploaded before all these moves.

Rather then bothering you further now, we feel it’s best to first get to the bottom of this and start anew first with a new installation and then eventually come back when problems should continue with Provisioner.
We would then also get your latest version.

confirmation of success or failure

there are two checkboxes on the admin page, login/logout, on login the the login checkbox should be unselected and the logout checkbox selected, is this happening?. Also please ensure you are not logged into the remote site when you are doing this, log out, log in with Provisioner then login to the remote site if you need to.

This seems to be a prob with the upload, the links to the transport package and the revogateway zip file don’t seem to be populated, I’ll fololw this up.

Thanks for the response Shamblett - but for now I have decided to revert back to evo for the site I am working on, so I won’t get to check this till the next site I do, which will def be revo. Decision nothing to do with Provisioner, more availability of other modules esp quickmanager.
