Usage example for ResetPassword snipppet:
[[ResetPassword? &loginResourceId=`72`]]

I’d recommend changing that to uncached:
[[!ResetPassword? &loginResourceId=`72`]]

When cached, if a user goes through the ((forgot password / get email / click link to reset)) process more than once, the password is not reset properly after the first time. The email will contain a new password (assuming that ForgotPassword was called uncached), and the encryption in the link will match it... but ResetPassword (since it is cached) will reset the password to whatever it was instructed to the first time it was run.

i made my register and update profile pages
but they both dont work

For register and update profile pages,: i just made resources and put [[!Register]] and [[!UpdateProfile]]
in it.
But when i press preview they dont seem to work!?
Do i have to adjust something in the snippets???

Rest of pages (login, forgot password and such) seems to work..

Are you getting a page error, or just a blank page?

These snippets are to be placed on pages that contain a corresponding form - the snippets themselves don’t provide the form. If your resources contain only the snippet calls, this would most likely result in a blank page.

There is a default registration form in the Login chunks folder - lgnRegisterForm. Try putting this on your register page:

[[!Register]]
[[!$lgnRegisterForm]]

My recommendation (unless the provided sample form works for you as-is) is to duplicate it and customize it to your liking. It has all the necessary placeholders already placed in it.

I’d like to request that ReCaptcha be added as a direct option to the Register snippet. Ideally the whole ’hooks’-type functionality from FormIt would be great to add to Register... but at a minimum, ReCaptcha is pretty vital for a registration form. I had to create a modified version of Register that behaves as a FormIt hook (returns true on success).

Hello Shaun,

I have installed the pagacke again, but the snippet source code of UpdateRegister is as same as of Register snippet. Is this an accident in the package? So, I need the code of UpdateRegister now.

I’m not sure what you’re talking about. There is no UpdateRegister snippet.
