    Ok, that fixed it smiley (that and some other now resolved issues smiley ). I tried installing a plugin for TinyMCE (linkautodetect). I’ve unzipped the file in assets/components/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins, and added linkautodetect behind the system setting tiny.custom_plugins. It now contains:

    style,advimage,advlink,modxlink,searchreplace,print,contextmenu,paste,fullscreen,noneditable,nonbreaking,xhtmlxtras,visualchars,media,autocomplete,linkautodetect

    I’ve flushed the entire cache, flushed my browser cache after logging out, but the plugin won’t do a thing. The plugin can be found at this SourceForge page. Any thoughts?

      StevenLangbroek, thanks for this plugin - i’ll use this plugin too smiley
      To solve your problem, just rename "editor_plugin_src.js" into "editor_plugin.js"

        Argimko Thanks for the tip smiley still not working however... Is the folder I put it in the only one that I need to put it in or are there other instances? Running Chrome/Mac, also tried Firefox/Mac and Safari/Mac... Still no luck.

          StevenLangbroek, try to install last TinyMCE 4.0.1-rc1: http://modxcms.com/extras/package/459
          So...then install ’linkautodetect’.
          I’m just have a folder linkautodetect at the "assets\components\tinymce\jscripts\tiny_mce\plugins\", where is onlt one file: "editor_plugin.js" (old name is "editor_plugin_src.js")

          Is TinyMCE running, after install a linkautodetect?

            Well, funny thing is: if I look at the source of a Resource-editing page, there’s an array of settings, which includes a list of plugins. Even though I’m sure that linkautodetect is in the system setting, it doesn’t show up here... So there appears to be some sort of mismatch...

                  http://svn.modxcms.com/crucible/changelog/modx/?cs=7114

                  Thanks but I’m still getting the non-working resource browser from TinyMCE after applying this patch. Any other suggestions?

                  As mentioned above, I just get the single, unnamed folder in the tree. Any create / upload actions result in an "Access Denied" error.

                  Also, there appears to be an issue when clicking the "Cancel" button on the resource browser window. The window clears of content but remains open.

                    Did you try this? This had me puzzled for ages:

                    after applying the path, do not forget copy
                    \www\manager\assets\modext\widgets\core\modx.rte.browser.js
                    into
                    \www\manager\assets\modext\build\widgets\core\modx.rte.browser-min.js
                    (with REPLACE)

                    ...and clear browser’s cache smiley

                      Yup, confirmed that the JS file has the following lines
                      Ext.Ajax.defaultHeaders = {
                          'Powered-By': 'MODx'
                          ,'modAuth': config.auth
                      };
                      Ext.Ajax.extraParams = {
                          'Powered-By': 'MODx',
                          ,'HTTP_MODAUTH': config.auth
                      };
