did u try different browsers?
maybe update flashplayer and browser.

Im running the latest version of Firefox and Flash, im not sure what else to really try, it could possibly be a server config item but i dont nkow anything about how to even consider checking for it.

Some servers are limited to 2mb filesize images, also check the image name for weird characters.
Try to upload a simple small sample.jpg image, if that doesnt work and if the browser internet explorer also doesn’t work i think it has to do with your server and it’s settings. What setting your problem gives i dunno.

its not working with a 50k single image, only thing i can think of is that the paths are wrong on the server, but i wouldnt know where to even look to change them

did u chmod the gallerie(s) map? needs to be correct and chmod 777

yeah, it works perfectly fine on the development server at the office (dedicated server) but soon as i come to use it on my own personal shared platform it doesnt work....must be server config somewhere

Great module for creating galleries on ModX

However, I have a bit of a problem. I’m using it to upload images from which I need to extract exif and iptc data.

The issue I’m encountering is that as soon as I upload the images through the EvoGallery, the images lose the exif and iptc data. I’m assuming that this happens when the images are passed through the image resizer used by the EvoGallery.

Is there a way I can bypass such a process, so that images are uploaded in the folders with their exif and iptc data intact?

I would be happy to be offered any solution as long as the images I upload through the EvoGallery retain the exif and iptc data

I’m going to use this extension with my girlfriends photography portfolio.
I have used a lot of gallery extensions for Wordpress, Drupal and MODx, but Evogallery is tha best ever!
You can make it output whatever you want with ease.
I have it up and running, but there are some bugs and a functionality request.

Bug 1: When uploading images with Google Chrome about 10% of the images always end up with an IO error.
I think this is a flashplayer related bug, but anyone that is experiencing the same problems should try Firefox.



Bug 2: When using the ManagerManager Function it only shows up when there are more TV’s present.

Functionality request:
It already has been discussed a lot on this topic, but please integrate a max height variable for the thumbs.

Maybe you should update uploadify to the latest version

What PHP version are you running on the server?
