Well, first off, 0.1-beta2 says it’s for Revo RC-2 only, not Revo-rc1. So that’s one wrong step.
@BobRay, I’m using 0.1-beta2 on Revolution 2.0.0-rc-1 rev6614 and I’ve tested out fancyBox and works a treat. Although I’m not using the &plugin but simply loading the jQuery and javascript in the <head> and class/id calls in the chunk.
You can disable images, yes - by right-clicking on an image, and setting inactive to 0. However, there’s a bug, and you’ll need to add this line above line 34 in core/components/gallery/processors/mgr/item/update.php:
is there anyway is enable or disable images that are included in the call, or display just a single image. I see there’s an &showInactive but I’ve got a lot of field/buttons in Chrome 6.0.408.1 and FF v3.6.3 not showing up (see attached)?

’use a template/page’? Gallery is not linked to a specific page, like EvoGallery is. If you want it on a page, you simply put the snippet call in the Resource or in the Template.
How do I get the linked image to use a template/page. I’ve not having much success with &containerTPL &toPlaceholder, if that’s how I understand it. When I click the link image that where it takes me;
&containerTpl lets you wrap the entire gallery in a chunk, if you want to.
doh! I think I’ve figured out my second problem. I basically created another chunk with only <img class="" src="[[+image]]" alt="[[+name]]" title="[[+name]]" /> and used that on the &thumbTpl controlling the the images with &imageHeight/Width. So not sure what the point of &containerTpl is now..
This seems to be a bug with Chrome; Chrome’s "super fast caching" seems to not like cached JS and creates problems there.
Note, I’m getting the occasional issue where I select Components -> gallery => and the page either doesn’t load, doesn’t list my albums or if I perform an action like save/create the page goes blank in the browser. Currently happening on Windows 7 x64, XAMPP 1.7.3, using 0.1-beta2 on Revolution 2.0.0-rc-1 rev6614 via Chrome 6.0.408.1 and FF v3.6.3. Not a major problem just takes a couple of refreshes.
Anyway I got the albums to output to a drop down menu TV using the @SELECT name FROM `modx_gallery_albums`. So selecting the appropriate album to the page works for me. Easier then I thought.That’ll work. Good idea.

However the &showInactive still perturbs me as I think setting this option per image would be my single image output option. But I can’t see it...
No, as the url encoding is required for it to work in all browsers.
One other thing, can the output of phpThumbs be cleaned up (readable) rather then % for spaces?

And now I see &showInactive that works as a single image workaround’ish method, although I did think about taggin just didn’t try it. I’ll look forward to the [[GalleryItem]] update.
