We’re looking at an OData integration after the 2.1 release, which fully supports IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Wincache, Active Directory, etc., and of course still works great on LAMP stacks, too! What that post referred to is the Static Resources that allow MODX to handle files on the filesystem for super-lightweight document management.

Thanks for the very quick answer, it’s no wonder MODX-community is being praised all around the Internet!
As a designer I’m way out of my comfort zone here, so let me check if I got it right:
1. In near future I’ll be able to access Sharepoint-system from MODX via OData protocol.
2. At the moment there’s no way to build sharepoint-like file storage (library) in MODX.

1. We’re looking at it. No commitment on delivery or timing.
2. You could do this today with a custom Add-on, or Static Resources may suit your needs. Not having more information on the requirements and number of files, expected usage, etc. makes it hard to offer more suggestions.

Ok, thanks again.
The Static Recourse is actually just what I was looking for.

Any progress on this? I will be needing Sharepoint integration soon as a file download management function.
