This is a new version for MODx Revolution beta-5 and beyond. The only changes are in the install and uninstall code.

Basically, just some JS code to do the expansion and contraction and my code to parse the content chunk. If you look at the readme.txt and the code I think you’ll get the idea. You could use a modified version for lots of different things.
There’s a little bug in the snippet: The statusClosedHTML can’t be set by passing it as a parameter because of this:
$statusOpenHTML = $modx->getOption('statusOpenHTML',$scriptProperties,'[-]');
$statusClosedHTML = $modx->getOption('statusOpenHTML',$scriptProperties,'[+]');
Maybe you’d like to fix this some time.

You’re welcome, but it’s not fixed in the MODx download area yet, just in the SVN code repository. Although you can make the change yourself on line 172 of the snippet:
$statusOpenHTML = $modx->getOption('statusOpenHTML',$scriptProperties,'[-]');
$statusClosedHTML = $modx->getOption('statusClosedHTML',$scriptProperties,'[+]');
