Two QuickManager questions

Does anyone know if/how I can disable the "Manager" button in the QuickManager toolbar? I’d like to just have "Edit Resource" and "Logout" available.

Also, does anyone know if/how I can enable QuickManager selectively? That is, if a particular condition is met (e.g. the name of the logged in user matches a value in a page’s template variable) the QuickManager is enabled, otherwise it isn’t?

Still trying to figure out how to enable a given user editing rights to a given document ...

There’s an option to hide the Manager tab in the configuration screen: Elements > Manage Elements > Plugins > Quick Manager+ > Configuration > Show go to manager.

This and other options are listed in the readme.html file in the plugin’s folder. I don’t see anything there to manage showing or hiding QM by user groups, though you can exclude specific documents by ID from QM editability.

QM+ should obey users right to edit document and hide edit button if users has no rights.

It’s also possible to hide QM+ toolbar from specified documents as KP already instructed.

Thanks for the replies. I had overlooked some of the config settings for QM, thinking that I needed to resolve this issue in PHP. So at the moment I think I’ve got an approach that will work. At least until someone actually uses it
