I installed MODx Evolution 1.0.2 and downloaded Shopkeeper 0.9.1 and followed these two Russian screencast tutorials and set up Shopkeeper at http://e-stonia.co.uk/modx

Manager user: modx pass: shopkeeper - it’s limited access but should be enough to play around with Shopkeeper. File manager is allowed and assets/snippets/shopkeeper is chmod 777 so should be enough. I’m happy to keep this address as example to play for MODx forum users.

I didn’t go much more forward until I saw that when I click "Add to cart" here (http://e-stonia.co.uk/modx/index.php?id=2) then I can choose the amount and when I click "ok" then product will fly to cart and cart will disappear.

I would be really happy if someone would help me to help out to see what’s wrong (doesn’t matter the messed layout of "add to cart" buttons and everything as it’s just a test site) with the cart. It must be something wrong with cart because when you click "order form" you’ll see red rectagle above order form where is call for Shopkeeper snippet.

I’m pleased with the simplicity of MODx and ability to built custom solutions with it once you have learned it a bit and I find Shopkeeper the best e-commerce solution so far for MODx.

Hi Andchir,

is there a placeholder to use in cartRowTpl to create a link back to an item?
it works with the default template, but i guess it’s "hardcoded" in theclass.shopkeeper.php, so it won’t work with a custom template ->

funny, works okay right now.
So I have a follow up question. I noticed the use of DITTO.
I currently have a page with the following setup:
-product page
-first product line
fpl a
fpl b
fpl c..
-second product line
spl a
spl b
spl c
etc...

I have a vertical menu generated by wayfinder and displaynf one product per page with all the info.
Any suggestions on how to integrate shopkeeper, as I don t need DITTO?

Hi everybody,

Does anyone have idea how to make Shopkeeper fully multilingual? I mean to have more than one languages in same MODx installation.

Of course I can have different &lang in different pages but there are some things that need translation also in chunks. So, only way around came into my mind was to rename everywhere "shopkeeper" -> "shopkeeper2" including snippet, module, snippet folder, etc. and same thing with all chunks.

But maybe there’s easier way for example adding these texts that need translation into language files?

Try to see if YAMS can be mixed with Shopkeeper,
a lot of third party addons are being modified to
work with YAMS...
