if you use the tv in the inherited way, did you set the tv in the document root?
Does your 404 page have the same template or at least is the ssl tv set the too?

Im not using @INHIRT I have only a single payment page I use with SSL.
setting the 404 page to ssl still get me same error.

yes have template. if I disable the ssl plugin the 404 page comes up no problem, only with the plugin enabled it gives me the parse error instead.

Where is this prefix ’smartsecurity’ from in your sql call?

I don’t know why you’re getting this error but for now you could prevent the plugin from running on the 404 page like this:

where in the plugin would I add it?
and do i need the [ brackets or just if ($id == "3"){ ?

I tried with/without the brackets and don’t seem to disable the plugin on the 404 page.
Tried adding the lines below the first $id = $modx->documentIdentifier; and after but don’t see any change. mind elaborating please?
