You don’t have to include anything in to your template. Are you by any chance using other JavaScripts (Mootools for example) on those pages where QuickManager+ doesn’t work?

Random thoughts:
What if the collapse action for the menu was triggered just by clicking on the left-bar logo-area, instead of having the x box at the far right?

Fast sliding animation as it closes, too?

Could be, I thought about this when implementing the current toggle. But I’m not sure if ordinary users will understand that clicking the logo will close the menu bar. Maybe this could be done in both ways: by clicking the X or the logo.

ideally it’d be able to slide out of the way like the top login menu at http://www.tulsanorml.org/ ... I think that’d be the best of both worlds. (For reference, that’s a new MODx site showcase submission I recently approved ... don’t go getting ideas about my recreational activities )

Hey, that’s very nice implementation. I’ll take it as an reference for future development of the menu bar. Nice site too, I mean the design is nice, not saying anything about the recreational activities it promotes

QuickManager+ version 1.3.3 is now ready and waiting for repository approval. Those in hurry can grab the version 1.3.3 attached to this post.

No it won’t. It just overwrites folders and files that exist (in this case QuickManager+ related folders and files). Any other folders or files in assests folder will remain untouched. Try yourself to see how it goes.

Just a mention: If you are on a Mac extracting / copying to the (local) assets folder WILL overwrite the entire current assets directory and delete files and subdirectories, leaving you with the new files only. Couldn’t believe that but it’s true. File management on a Mac is one of the Mac downsides for me.

Had to learn that the hard way :-((

You’ll need to do a folder sync on mac for combining local directories, there’s a SynTwoFolders app out there: http://tcfj.pagesperso-orange.fr/site/Prg_AutresRB.html

Oops, didn’t know that. I should probably upgrade the instructions to be more clear about this. Thanks for pointing this out.
