Brief Description:
Quid (QuickDocuments) is a way to Quickly read Documents and assotiated Template Variable Values from database.

This looks very nice. I was just working on something like this.

I’m using and testing this technology on one project.
And have some ideas for future:
1. Use mySQL datatypes by TV-kind to optimize tables and make technology more faster.
2. Quickly include templates.

For information: in tb.inc.php you can find some useful functions.
I’m using template description to add additional params block "{param1=`x` param2=`y`}" for templates. With Tb::getTpl or Tb::getTpls there is a way to read this params!

For everyone: please report on errors. Plugin is testing!

My plugin was for one table, so everything was more hard-coded.

I was thinking of doing a switch() on the parent to set the tables, and fields. I like your idea though.

Is there a way to set only certain fields to be moved into the seperate table? That’s what I did. Maybe default to ’*’, but allow a csv param of fields.

No. Idea was to support Full shadow-table for template.
But how I understand your query is around more compact shadow-tables with Quid?
I have no answer yet.

The idea to choose not all TVs for separate table is to economy database space?

There’s no reason I can think of really.
