I have to add something to the right hand side of about 100 pages. To save me opening each page and adding a chunk to each pages TV, I was wondering if there was a better way to update 100 pages with a chunk instantly?

The template already has a TV and I’ve created a chunk for my content.

Do I need to open every resource manually to add this chunk or is there some kind of way to add it to every resource? The TV already has a few existing chunks.

If all those pages share the same template, then you can simply add the chunk to your template using this tag:
      [[$chunkName]] (Revo)
      {{chunkName}} (Evo)

It will then be used by all of those pages.

        Hi Lucas

I thought of that but each page has several chunks already in different order depending
on the content. Technically, what you’re suggesting would work perfect but it wouldn’t allow
me to allow the chunk to be at the bottom of each page underneath all the pages other chunks.

Are the other chunks being inserted using TVs or in the content field for each page? I’m sure it will be possible some way or another to do this.

Perhaps if you paste your template here I can get a better idea of your setup...

They’re being inserted into the TV manually.
            Edit Page > Scroll to the Template Variable and then manually add {{video-welcome}}

So you can just go into your template and add your ’bottom’ chunk after the TV tag that is pulling in your changeable chunks, and it will always be inserted after them.

But without seeing your template I can’t really help you any more than that undecided

Also - you might be interested in using one of the techniques discussed on this thread to make chunk management a bit easier for the end user

If you place your chunk under the other chunks it will display it underneath it, if it doesn’t work then you need to check your css styles for that chunks positioning.

So yes the easiest way to accomplish what you want is modifying where the chunk is placed on your template.

                Good Luck.
