Support/Comments for Automatic Default TVs

Brief Description:
This plugin allows you to automatically assign TVs from a category when you create a new Template.

This looks like it could be interesting. I like the ability to set tvs based on categories.

I think this should be the part of core workflow eg. when you duplicate the template, you are given an option to auto-assign the TVs to the new template or just skip the auto assign. Actually I talked a little bit about this with Jeff.

I think the core would need a new parameter if this was to work on duplicated templates. Right now it just has $id and $mode = upd. We would need a new parameter for the $old_id.

I just want to say this plugin is such a timesaver! I built it for myself because I use FileInclude snippet to create TVs. I always have some default TVs like CSS/JS, use Textile, etc. Then I copy my FileInclude template whenever I have a certain document/container that needs different TVs.

And now the default TVs are just there... automatically. Just wanted to share how I use this and man has it saved me time.

PS - I have my Default TV’s setup ’Default’. And now I just forget about it and add new templates away.
