it is very good for me because i was looking for something like this in last days

i test it on 0.9.6.1, it works well but i found out that it shows nothing with gif images. it is only for png images?

and it is good as a converter script so adding delete feature to it can be useful. it means when snippet get a image, create a shadowed(_sorry for my English _) and show it. i maybe like to delete original image too.

well I think there are lots of things to do. My script is newborn and is too much "stiff" yet - I am talking about the output in particular.
A delete feature could be good, for old (no more used) output images, most of all. And an upload interface would be useful too.
But I don’t want to build a picture manager with shadow features. I just wanted a simple shadows dropper. Just a modx-friendly version of the Collington’s dropshadow php script I found on the internet. If you are looking for a great picture manager with shadow features maybe MaxiGallery will work.
I hope one day someone will build a picture manager which uses KBshadows inside, just for shadows and resize needs.

Gif’s? I really didn’t try! Maybe the script doesn’t work with gif images! A good thing would be to insert an hidden gif-to-png converter inside the script. I remember there’s something interesting inside the maxigallery.class.inc.php - I’ll check.

This one converts gif too, using some code from maxigallery.class.php. Thanks for testing!!
Attached kbshadows.zip - this is not an official release yet, but seems to work.
