Hi, a bit frustrated here...
I read through the directions exactly, but no luck. The page just shows an empty spot where this snippet should show up.
In theory, this would be a great snippet... if it worked. Hopefully someone can help to turn my luck around.
Please help.

The Instructions
1. Create a New Snippet called "Quoteoftheday", then copy & paste the snippet content; Save it.
2. Create a New Document as a "container"; un-tick "Show in menu".
3. Create each of your "quote pages" in this container with settings:
- Uses template:
(blank)
- show in menu:
unticked
- Log visits:
unticked
- Searchable:
unticked
- Cacheable:
unticked
4. Place "Quoteoftheday" Snippet where you would like it to show up.
- Usage Example:
[!Quoteoftheday? &dayquote=`1234`!]
- Change the
`1234` to point to your document "container ID".
If there was an award for great documentation on snippets, etc. my guess is that the majority wouldn’t qualify overnight. Its an idea that would help newbies take hold of this CMS/CMF even faster. My hope is that more coders would take "documentation accuracy" and "ease of implementation" seriously. Forums would be less active, and confusion held to a minimum, that’s for sure
