Support/Comments for Missing

Since .htaccess rewrites friendly urls like "index.php?q=...", so this line in the plugin

should be changed like

I never got this plugin to work either. So you really should check out Virtual Aliases instead!

I couldn’t get the Virtual Aliases plugin to work but this worked a treat with the mod posted above by tkfm. Fantastic!

This works well in certain circumstances, but have an issue that has stumped me now
It works for static URL’s but not dynamic ones

Old site format
http://www.domain.com/Default.asp?page=27

In the process of processing this ’Missing’ or the .htaccess file for Friendly URL’s strips off the ?page=27, so you can’t use it to pick up the redirection.

Looking at what Missing sees it only gets the Default.asp, which isn’t much help.

Have tried taking the QSA off the .htaccess file but that didn’t do the trick.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
