    Hi everyone,

    I’m quite keen to add something along the lines of: http://jobs.archiseek.com/ to my existing architecturalselect.com site (maybe a mini site off it, or link to some other tool).

    The layout is okay but could be tidied up a bit I suppose and maybe have space for sponsored jobs, info, tools, etc. and I’d quite like that when a job is added that it somehow creates a new location.

    Simple, searchable, clean and functional and cheap. Does anyone know if this sort of thing can be achieved in MODX ?

    Would be grateful for any pointers.

    Thanks.

    p.s. hope you all came home last night with carrier bags full of sweeties

      Well this is indeed rather simple once you have the back-end of things setup. The hardest part would be writing the CSS to make it look decent!

      example -> http://sweetskies.fruitwerks.us/babies.php

      This is done with simple TV’s, Ditto and a chunk’ed template.

      Each ’listing’ has it’s own page, every bit of info has it’s own TV, fill in the blanks and call Ditto with the display template.

      Good Luck!

        You may need some custom work to integrate the payment feature for new jobs, but you could most likely use some of eForms cool event capabilities to integrate this setup. Other than that it is mostly ditto.
