Thanks sharkbait. I suppose I should submit the new package! I’ll get right on that. I’m interested in knowing if anyone else can send emails with the new version? It doesn’t seem to work from GoDaddy hosting, but I think we’ve always had GoDaddy troubles... I’m going to try it elsewhere to see if I can get the emails to send.
Ali, it’s only possible to send a file as an attachment by modifying the core code of the plugin - the part of the code that puts the email together. This functionality is not available at this time, but it might not be a bad idea for a future release, if a future release is even necessary. If PHP Mailer is packaged with MODx in the future (that’s supposed to happen, right?), then we probably won’t need anything like TE Mailer.
Ali, I’m curious - why attach a PDF if the newsletter can be sent as a MODx document? Why not just publish a link on the newsletter that goes to the PDF in case people can’t read the newsletter properly in their email?

thanks for you module. I just installed it and here’s a bit of feedback.
the package from MODx extras downloads still doesn’t have the install folder.
When i used the package that you posted on this thread the install ran but the labels for all of the checkboxes and fields for the install page were missing. I looked at source to figure out what they were.
