This is an auto-generated support/comment thread for Web-Root Relative HREFs.

Use this forum to post any comments about this addition or any questions you have regarding its use.

    Brief Description:
Converts href="foo/bar" to href="/foo/bar" (which are alternately called "absolute" or "web-root relative" or "root relative" links).

Very useful if you want to use alias paths, but don’t want to use a <base href> tag (because they mess other things (like anchors) up)

Doesn’t touch links that look like:
    /foo/bar
    #foo
    http://foo/bar
    ftp://foo
    mailto:foo

      Thank you for this.

I will try this tomorrow (it’s late here!) but I just wanted to say this is important for accessibility as the <base href...> messes-up the accesskey function, so thanks again wink
