Support/Comments for [SNIPPET] xslt

Hi, I’m new to MODx and so far everything’s worked beautifully but I’m having a couple of problems including feeds on my site.

I get the following:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: domxml_open_mem() in /var/www/web4/html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(769) : eval()’d code on line 61

when calling xslt:

[!xslt? &xmlURL=`http://rss.orf.at/news.xml` &xslFile=`assets/templates/omnex/listTitleLinks.xsl`!]

I don’t really know much about php, so I’m a bit lost as to what the problem might be, so I was hoping some kind soul could help with this.

Btw, I know there’s other snippets like e.g. feedX, but I haven’t found one that works as I suspect that most of them use fopen, which isn’t allowed on my host, so I need one that uses curl.

Firstly - great Snippet - a real life saver after spending hours trying alternatives.

However, I do have one question. I can transform an xml file using XSLT 1.0 but can’t seem to transform the same xml page using XSLT 2.0 as I get an error when I try to do this. Is this normal? Is there a way of getting this snippet to work with XSLT 2.0?

I’ve modified xslt 0.2 to support PHP 5.x.x.

New 0.3 version is hosted here: http://www.iadegesso.netsons.org/xslt0_3.html.

For info, there is a newer version now at http://modxcms.com/extras/package/?package=721. It has a number of mods, most significantly caching which reduces the chances of feed providers refusing to send content due to frequent requests from your site IP.
