Try the plugin? Isn’t this the thread for the plugin? I downloaded v 1.3 and installed it as a plugin selecting the required items. But the code will not show up on the page unless test value is equal to 1

That’s what my comment was based on ... and yes this is the plugin support topic! Sorry for the confusion. If you’re logged into the manager by design it will not add the tracking code.

My mistake, I meant plugin not snippet. The plugin is working fine for me now.

Any idea why I would continually get a Forbidden page not found error page on attempting to install the plugin? (on saving) I have attempted over 10-15 times. Logged in and out, rechecked the code since I at first was using an account from the domain I am staging and just about gave up now. I’ve followed directions to the tee.

After 2 days of Forbidden errors, I was already thinking twice of continuing with MODx. I’m glad it was that easy and hope to continue with it because of the great learning curve and seemingly endless possiblities.

I get this same problem. test has to have a value of 1 to get any output. if it is set to 0 it does not add any code.

As is stands, you download the plugin, install it, follow the directions, and nothing works. You have to read it again, then hit the forum, then go to page 2 of this post, and then discover that parameter named ’test mode’ has to have a correct value in order for it to work.

Might be solved with one quick line in the instructions.

Just my 2 cents.
