Hi all

I’m having a dumb problem with Ajax Search. I upgraded my site to modx 1.0.5 and i didn’t update the ajaxsearch because it had given me problems on other sites before. However when i went to preview the site, I get the following error.

« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »

PHP error debug
Error: Missing argument 1 for run()
Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2

Parser timing

I’m not sure what to do. I tried looking at other postings and found a few however since I am new to modx, I really couldn’t understand what they were talking about.

Could someone please help me?

I don’t know why but it seems you run an older version of the ajaxSearch snippet with the classes of the last release of AjaxSearch (1.9.2). May be this is due to your installation.

I figured it out but what happened was, although i chose not to install the latest versions of the ajaxsearch, it still installed it. So i then just reverted everything back to the older version and it worked.
