thumb snippet to resize images?

Hi,

does anyone know of a snippet I can use to resize an image to use on a product overview. For example I have a list of product pages that are shown from a ditto call. So pagetitle/product name, price etc. I also want a thumbnail of the full size image from the product page.

Thanks for any help.

Lisa

Try phpThumb snippet at this link: http://modx.com/extras/package/phpthumbpackage
Or advthumbs here (the documentation is in italian but if you know how to call a snippet it should not be that difficult to understand how it works): http://www.jertix.org/it/blog/modx-cms/advthumbs-generatore-di-thumbnails.html

Is this for Evo or Revo?

For Evo there was a DirectResize plugin which applied the Highslide image expander to selected images.

However I’ve just switched to Revo and the plugin was no longer being developed. So I’ve just submitted an extra which enables DirectResize to run on Revo. This is a plugin which applies a thumbnail expansion automatically to any images in a specified directory. I use it extensively on my website, www.cherryclan.com . I don’t know if this is what you were after.

If you want to try this package out then for the moment you’ll have to grab a copy from github.com/apcherry/directresize , I’ve loaded the latest transport package under the available downloads. Hopefully it’ll be accepted as an extra at some point which will make the installation even easier.

Regards
