Override Yams MM Rules

Hello,

I have installed Yams and is working perfectly. But I need to change the template for one resource. Yams MM is hiding the change template option while editing the resource. How do I go about changing the template?

You should be able to do that with the DocManager module.

You can also temporarily remove the template the resource is assigned to now from the multilanguage templates list in the YAMS manager.

Thanks. It works the way you have suggested. But when I insert some rules in the mm_rules (default), it does not get applied. Where do I insert my custom rules?

Take a look at the bottom of your mm_rules chunk, it should have the file that is included to provide the YAMS-specific rules. Edit that file; since it’s included at the end of the mm_rules anything in that file will override what you may put in the mm_rules chunk yourself. I would strongly suggest making a copy of the original YAMS rules as a backup file before messing with it.
