    hi

can anybody provide me paid/free consultancy for using modx ?

Can we use modx for very large php programs. if yes then we should use plugins or snippets for this purpose ?
How can we test run/compile a php code from modx control panel ?
why there is no navigation & templates for modx ?

Templates are easy; they are just plain HTML like any web page. Replace dynamic content with MODx tags.

Navigation can be done in a number of ways, which is why MODx doesn’t try to enforce any One True Way. The Wayfinder snippet, which is included with an Evo installation and is easily added to Revo via its package management system, is most commonly used for dynamic navigation, although it’s not uncommon to just use HTML if the menu items aren’t likely to change and you don’t need an "active" or any other variable classnames for styling purposes.

Snippets are for PHP code within the page; largely analogous to the <?php...?> tags in HTML. Large snippets usually just have an include directive in the snippet code in the Manager, with most of the application code in external files.

Plugins modify core MODx functionality so there is no need to hack the core files to customize behavior. Common uses for plugins are to add or replace functionality on user login or logout, on editing or saving resources, or to add processing to the resource as it’s being passed through the main parser.

Template Variables are another option, as they can also be used to process PHP code on a resource-by-resource basis.

MODx can be used as a framework for any web application. Revo is more useful for large applications, as it has a stronger framework core with a default CMS built on, while Evo’s main core is more oriented to content management.
