    Hi All,

    I am trying to build a gallery that works with the JQuery Isotope plugin to allow images to be filtered by selection depending on their class.

    To achieve this, I was hoping to display a list of album titles, using the GalleryAlbums snippet, that have their unique id as the li class and then use the Gallery snippet to output the contents of a gallery whereby each image has takes the id of it’s parent album as it’s class.

    Something like this:

    <img src="http://where_ever" class="[[image_parent_album_id]]" alt="[[+image_title]]" />

    I have managed to accomplish the first part, generating the list of albums with the correct classes, fairly easily but I am completely stuck on how to then assign a parent album id number to the class of an image in the Gallery snippet call.

    Any ideas or help with this would be much appreciated. If I get it working I will post a full explanation here.

    Best,

    Nic.

      Just chiming in here, as a huge fan of the jQuery library, I can’t believe I hadn’t seen this plugin.
      The demo’s are phenomenal.
      Sounds like you’ve managed to cook up something extra special, if you can get something out the door on this one.
      Sorry I can’t be of more help, other than moral support.

          Not sure about that, it appears to be the official home of the plug in at:
          http://isotope.metafizzy.co/index.html
          A quick google doesn’t bring up any alarms for the page.

          There is no page for this plugin in the jquery plugins directory... possibly because (just noticed this) it requires a license for commercial use... $37 use and $17 support or something...
