getPage and getResources

I’m having a hard time finding a basic example of getResources and getPage. GetResources successfully pulls my basic product info from my product pages into a list on the product category pages. I want simply the product category page to go beyond a single page and those pages be paginated.

This is my call from the category page:

[[!getResources? &showHidden=`1` &tpl=`productTpl` &limit=`10` &includeContent=`1` &includeTVs=`1` &processTVs=`1` &hideContainers=`6,7,19,22,25` ]]

Where would the getPage call go? Can anyone give me the basics here. I’m missing something.

getPage acts as a wrapper for getResources. So you would have something like (untested):

[[!getPage? &element=`getResources` &showHidden=`1` &tpl=`productTpl` &limit=`10` &includeContent=`1` &includeTVs=`1` &processTVs=`1` &hideContainers=`6,7,19,22,25`]]
<div>[[!+page.nav]]</div>

or something close to that. Check the documentation page for all the properties of getPage.
