Does PHPTHUMBOF work if site is in subdirectory?

Hi,
Has anyone tested this scenario in Rev 2.0.8, php 5, Mysql 5 and got it working. Read some threads saying it only works if site is in root? I ended up installing phpthumb itself into components and calling it from there. Would like somthing like imgsizer but it wouldnt work for me either. Any other options for Revo 2.0.8?

The phpthumb class file seems to override the snippet input and resets paths back to the root. I’d created a custom thumb snippet and was banging my head on the wall for ages until I found this:

Apparently come Revo 2.1 this will be easily sorted via system settings, but until then you can make the change manually.
