I’m trying to use SimpleSearch to search trough customPackages.

I read the documentation and saw the example-code used to go through QuipComment.

    &customPackages=`QuipComment:body:quip:{core_path}components/quip/model/:QuipComment.resource = modResource.id`

I try to do the same thing for the famous Doodles Module that I customized a bit.
This module is accessible from the backend by administrators and the content can be outputted by the custom snippets or by using rowboat.

Now I want to also use simplesearch so when the list of brands gets very long a user can just type in the desired brand and get the result.
The thing now is that this data doesn’t reside on a page but only in the table in the manager and here comes the problem:
Your table must have some connection to the Resource it’s on (otherwise SimpleSearch won’t know how to load a URL for it!)

I tried the following but this won’t work because the content is only in the table.
    [[!SimpleSearchForm? &landing=`9` &tpl=`sstpl` &customPackages=`Brand:brandid,name,country:bcontrol:{core_path}components/bcontrol/model/:Brand.resource = modResource.id`]]

Is there a way to search through the custom made tables with simplesearch or in any other way?

    Thank you for your time!
