getResources by published date

I’m trying to get all resources in 2010.

&where=`{"publishedon:strtotime:date=`%Y`:=":"2010"}`

I’m making a hash of this. Help appreciated.

First, you’ll need a snippet to produce your timestamps for comparison, e.g.

<?php
return !empty($date) ? strtotime($date) : time();

Then you can use that to set the values to compare in the where property...

&where=`{"publishedon:>=":[[timestamp? &date=`2010-01-01`]],"publishedon:<":[[timestamp? &date=`2011-01-01`]]}`

Still can’t understand why mine didn’t work though because if I show [[*publishedon:strtotime:date=`%Y`]] it is ’2010’ so in my where clause &where=`{"publishedon:strtotime:date=`%Y`:=":"2010"}` isn’t that where 2010=2010 ?

You can’t use output filters in that property. Has no relation to properties. Output filters are only applied to tags and must appear before the ?
