    I use phpThumb this way with Evolution (0.9.4) :

    <img src="assets/snippets/phpThumb/phpThumb.php?src=/assets/images/foto.jpg &w=130 &h=100" alt="" />

    and it work very well.

    Is ti possible to use it the same way with Revolution (2.0.7)? if yes, what is the path of phpThumb.php for Revolution?

    Thank you for your answers

      Hi, why not using phpthumbof? So simple to use, for example in a getResources template:
      <img src="[[+tv.ImageTV:phpthumbof=`&w=75&zc=1`]]" title="" alt=""/>

      The only thing I was not able to do is to use the rotate option (ra with phpthumb).

        enzo2.0,

        here why I am not using phpthumbof (for the moment - because may be I can’t understand how to use it, the way I want).

        In my Evo site, my customer can enter any number of images, that he wants a thumbnail. I can not declare many TV for the images, because it can be any number.

        Here what I did in my Evo site :

        TV that I used in my snippet

        id = the id of the resource
        repertoire = the path where the images are located
        nbfotos = the number of images

        [!Diapo? &dossier=`[*repertoire*]` &fiche=[*id*] &fotos=[*nbfoto*] !]

        Im my Evo website the client just assign the number of images he has in the «nbfotos» TV and the images path in the «repertoire» TV , and the template call my snippet :

        and my snippet will loop to output the appropriate code. Example if my client enter 3 in the «nbfotos» TV.

        <a rel="camper" href="/image path/172-g1.jpg" title="my text"><img src="assets/snippets/phpThumb/phpThumb.php?src=/image path/172-g11.jpg &w=130 &h=100" alt="my text" /></a>
        <a rel="camper" href="/image path/172-g2.jpg" title="my text"><img src="assets/snippets/phpThumb/phpThumb.php?src=/image path/172-g2.jpg &w=130 &h=100" alt="my text" /></a>
        <a rel="camper" href="/image path/172-g3.jpg" title="my text"><img src="assets/snippets/phpThumb/phpThumb.php?src=/image path/172-g3.jpg &w=130 &h=100" alt="my text" /></a>

        It works very well.

        Therefore my question remind, is it possible to use phpThumb.php in Revo the same way I use it in Evo?

        And can we use phpthumbof without TV and how?

        Thanks for answering.

          Hi,

          well, try this for direct call of phpthumb (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,52539.0.html) :
          /connectors/system/phpthumb.php?src=/random_images/vice.jpg&w=159&h=280

          For you to achieve your goal with Revo, the best way is to use the fantastic imageList tv input type, thanks to Bruno!
          http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,52539.0.html

          Here’s how I use it :
          Snippet call
          <ul>
          [[getImageList? &tvname=`ImageListTV` &tpl=`GalerieTpl`]]
          </ul>

          Template
                          <li>
                              <a href="[[+imageURL:phpthumbof=`&w=500`]]" title="[[+imageAlt]]" rel="gal" class="nyroModal">
                                  <img class="GalerieThumb Preload" src="[[+imageURL:phpthumbof=`&w=110&zc=1`]]" alt="[[+imageAlt]]"/>
                              </a>
                          </li>

            Hi,

            Firstly, thank you for the all this information enzo2.0

            I try the direct call for phpThumb, it is working, but only in the manager and the preview resource.

            When go to the page as a web user, the image is not display.

            Here my call :
            <p><img src="connectors/system/phpthumb.php?src=/assets/images/annonces/27.jpg&w=100 &h=100" alt="some text" /></p>

            and the source code of page (as a web user)
            <p><img src="connectors/system/phpthumb.php?src=/assets/images/annonces/27.jpg&w=100 &h=100" alt="some text" /></p>

            Any explanation or solution?

            I will explore the «imageList» solution.

            My first language is French, it sometimes wonder more effort to understand some things expressed in English, but it is always a pleasure to learn something new.

            Thank again
