Would anyone know how to liit the amount of text when using the very nice getResourceField snippet.
My snippet call is as follows but it outputs the entire field called ’Content’
[[getResourceField? &id=`30` &field=`content`]]
I’ve tried adding an :ellipsis=`120` to terminate at 120 carachters but it doesn’t work
[[getResourceField? &id=`30` &field=`content`]]
Would be great if someone could assist.
Cheers

Based on the documentation of getResourceField, it wasn't stated that there's an option for ellipsis. I hope the developer of the snippet will add such a facility/option because it comes really handy with having to create another template chunk.

:ellipsis is an output modifier that's part of the MODX core. You can use it in any MODX tag to limit the result.
