How can I use getResources to grab information from the custom tables, for example I’ve installed VisionCart to create an online shop and it’s created new tables in the database "modx_visioncart_products, modx_visioncart_categories, etc.".
I saw that but I thought someone out there would know of a way. The snippets for VisionCart are buggy, not very customizable and lack features. Using getResources to access tables outside of the normal MODx tables would be really useful. I’m sure there are many people out there that would love to access data from custom tables.

The name of the snippet should provide a clue... getResources. That means it fetches resources, including a resource’s content, its resource variables and any TVs associated with it. It is not intended to be an all-purpose database access tool.
