Formit custom error messages

Please an you point me to the documentation on how to change the default error message when a field fails validation.

e.g. default = This field is required.

How to change it to "First Name is required"

if you want to customize the message you have to go in lexicon Management and change formit.filed_required value or use the filter notempty in this way "[[!+fi.error.name:notempty=`Custom Message`]]"
