Does Redirector work for different contexts?

I want to redirect a url in a context to another one in the same context .

I added the following values for parameters in redirector.

The url to be redirected is http://www.context1.com/somepage/

Pattern - "somepage"

Target - http://www.context1.com/somepageredirected/


It works if I use default "web" context, which is on the same domain as modx.

But it doesn’t seem to work if it is on a different context, which is actually a different domain than modx manager domain.

Has anyone used redirector on different contexts successfully?

Unfortunately I could find a fix for redirector.

But I solved it by adding commands to htaccess file.

Following is the code I used in case anyone encounters a similar problem

RewriteRule ^dir1/dir2/page/ dir11/page2/ [L,NE,R=301]
