getResources filtered by url parameter

How do I filter results by a url parameter e.g.

mypage.html?type=2

I want to show all child pages that have a Template Variable "TVtype" = 2

I’ve been unable to find the syntax. Something like

[[!getResources? &parents=`[[*id]]` &where=`{"+TVtype:=":$type}` &tpl=`myRowTpl`]]

Also if I just want to show the value of a url parameter on the page do I have to use a snippet or is there a tag?

Hi,

To filter results according to a TV, you will have to look at the &tvFilters parameter http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/getResources#getResources-AvailableProperties
To display a post "variable" into a page, you might want to check getUrlParam http://modxcms.com/extras/package/745
