I have recently added a Disqus comments box to my pages and it appears fine. My comments appear and all looked good. But when another user posts a comment (it is automatically approved) it does not appear on the page. Does anyone know why this is as it’s driving me insane

I have no idea about Disqus but first thought is that it could perhaps be a caching issue. Try setting your page to uncached (just as a trial) and see if other posts show up.

I did as suggested but it does not appear to make a difference. The Disqus help is very poor, so I am hoping someone may know a little more than me undecided

Disqus is not related to MODX page caching, since its loaded via javascript.

Either its a browser cache, or the comment posted has been flagged as spam. I would check Disqus admin and look for the comment if its under the spam category.

None are flagged. What I have found though is that on an old browser only my viewers comment appears. On a new browser only my comments appear. How strange

Have you tried clearing cache of the browser? including cookies etc.

which is a direct link to the page. How can I stop Ajax adding all the ’searched=lime+hawkmoth&advsearch=allwords&highlight=ajaxSearch_highlight+ajaxSearch_highlight1+ajaxSearch_highlight2’ to my page address?

Disable the search highlighting plugin and that should fix the issue.

Do you have the code for it in your ajax search call?
