Revolution: filter by NOW() (getResources)

Have:
1. Revolution.
2. List of documents with a TV (TV is in a date format).

Need:
1. Select documents with this date TV but value less (or higher) than now() (for a calendar: upcoming and past events)
2. Limit = 4

There is a sort of similar question but I didnt get the answer. Is this possible with getResources (&where parameter), and how do i do it?

You could do this with one of the Resource fields, but this is not supported on Template Variables with getResources, nor would it be efficient since there is no index for sorting by dates in the generic Template Variable storage.
