Phantom thumbnail in gallery

I accidentally uploaded the wrong image to an album in gallery. I noticed this when I developed the slideshow in the frontend.
I deleted the file from the album, cleared the cache of MODx, cleared the browser cache and still the wrong thumbnail keeps popping up in the frontend.
The gallery in the backend shows the correct thumbnail and image.

A bug??????????
