    I’m working on a homepage for artists (revo 2.0.5).

    Among other things I need a "artnavigation".

    Because most of their works have the title "untitled" (yeah they don’t give a title anymore...), I have decided to create a numbered subnavigation.

    Though document ids would also be possible, I’d rather prefer to give them numbers from "1 to n".

    I need to find out how to add an incremental number to each linktext in a wayfinder menue. The result should look like this:

    <ul id="id">
    	<li><a href="">Item 1</a></li>
    	<li><a href="">Item 2</a></li>
    	<li><a href="">Item 3</a></li>
    	<li><a href="">Item 4</a></li>
    			.
    			.
    			.
    			.
    	<li><a href="">Item n</a></li>
    </ul>

    No, an ol list is not what I want to do and I also don’t want to use some CSS Wizardry or JS.

    I need to do that in wayfinder and I don’t want to mess around with it’s source code.

    As far as I understand output filters are also not an option.

    I’m sure I’m missing something.

    Any clues?

    Regards,

      Could you use the menuindex in the link text?

        Thx Susan,

        That was what I needed!

        As far as I understand, menuindex is not supported by wayfinder so I installed the getRessourcesField extension from the respository. The rest was easy!

        [[getResourceField? &id=`[[+wf.docid]]` &field=`menuindex`]]

        I worked exactly as I hoped for.

        Kind regards and Marry Christmas!
