    Hi

    After upgrading from 1.00 to 1.04 my tinymce is no more reachable, I just see html-code. I checked with other sites that I upgraded the same way, checked every single position. All is equal but on this spoken site I have no tinymce on the others I have it. What could that be, I am really not amused, my client wants to edit the page...

    Please help. Thank you.

        Check the folder names in the plugin configuration versus what is under assets/plugins. I think in 1.0.4 the folder name changed from tinymce3241 (or something like that, at least in 1.0.2) to tinymce. So maybe you’ve got a folder name that needs to be changed?

            After some upgrades I had the same problem, solved by truncating the modx_user_settings table, which can have old tinymce settings.

              How did you do that?

                Either via PHPMyAdmin or a snippet e.g.
                <?php
                $rs= $modx->db->query('TRUNCATE TABLE `modx_user_settings`');
                return;
                ?>

                    Okay, then put my code in a snippet, name it Temp and save it.
                    Add the snippet call to one of your pages i.e. [!Temp!] then view the page.
                    That should truncate (empty) the user settings table.
                    Remove the snippet call from the page, delete the snippet.
                    If you’re lucky, Tiny re-appears smiley, if not further investigation is required :’(.
