I need to create a site for a school district. There will be multiple users per site and I need a complex permissions system. I need teachers to be able to put up content for their classes, but not be able to edit other teacher’s content. I want the principal to be able to make changes on teacher’s pages and be able to assign new permissions to new teachers, but not have access to other schools. Can MODx do this? If not what CMS can?
MODX can definitely do that. I think MODX Revolution would be the best choice. Its permission system is more difficult to learn, but you’ll get much finer-grained control.
